We have a 2001 Honda Civic with a bad cluster. First of all it’s very easy to replace the cluster but make sure you’re getting the right one. Most of the time they look same but 5 speed and automatic transmissions are different.
Let’s get started;First release the steering wheel lock arm so you’ll have some extra room.

It will pop,so keep it in a safe place.

There are three screws shown around the cluster.Unscrew them.

After this just tilt the cluster a little. On the top of it you’ll see blue and green sockets.Unplug them and cluster is free now.Take it out and replace with the new one.
